About Haven

As President of The Haven Development Group Andrew Hill has been active in construction and development in Port Elgin, Ontario since 1985.

With 30 Years Construction, Development and Real estate experience Andrew has custom built or remodeled homes of various sizes and has constructed thousands of square feet of light commercial, institutional and office space.

The Haven Development Group specializes in custom work, providing pre-construction and construction services. For the client, this means wide ranging assistance in budgeting, architect selection, design development, and problem solving during the critical early stages of planning; critical to success is the careful management of the job during the construction period.

The company undertakes a broad spectrum of work, from new construction and remodeling projects to multi-family construction, land development, and commercial projects.

New residential construction includes traditional styles, contemporary designs, and energy efficient ICF construction. Residential remodeling work ranges from enhancing exterior architectural detail to "whole house" rehabilitation, including roof raising and house "moving." Institutional work includes remodeling of office and commercial buildings. We have also developed commercial and residential structures including multi-storey condominiums.

In all custom work performed, Andrew Hill works closely with the owners, architects and designers to ensure complete satisfaction. Our experience clearly makes a difference. We pre-qualify subcontractors, constantly review construction methods for quality control and offer ongoing advice for cost savings.

Andrew Hill began his career in construction in partnership with his father. After a short time he established his own business and began building the reputation he enjoys today. Core beliefs of quality and value, provide tangible benefits to the client.
